Intro Blog for Music Video

 Hi, my name is Dylan Euceda, I am 15 years old, and I am a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale High School. My least favorite class at school is currently Algebra 2. I have always been bad at math, and the first few lessons are already puzzling me. My favorite class, however, is Media Studies, the fact that we can blog, make music videos, and short films with our friends seems intriguing and fun to work on. Once school is over, my life transitions to soccer and that becomes my focus. I have been playing soccer ever since I learned how to walk and plan to maybe even play professionally and make this my living. The dream I have always had since a kid was to become a professional soccer player so through that dream I have always had, I use it as motivation to get better and hopefully the dream little me once had. I currently play for PSG academy in Miami, Florida. I usually practice 4 times a week from 7 pm to 9 pm. Then games and tournaments follow up during the weekend. Since soccer requires travelling, I had the opportunity to go to my dream location, Madrid, Spain. I spent two weeks in Madrid, playing soccer and exploring the city, and it was gorgeous. My favorite part of the trip was visiting my team's favorite stadium, the Santiago Bernabeu. Also, another interest I have is cars. Ever since I was a kid I have been obsessed with cars and tried to learn all about them. Now that I am 15, I can learn to drive and get my driver’s permit, which I am excited about. During my free time, I like hanging out with my friends and going out with them on weekends. We go to places like the beach, and restaurants, and just go around the neighborhood. Back at home, I usually relax in my room or be with my family and hang out with my 2 dogs, Luna and Louie. When I am at home with my dad, we watch soccer games, and Formula 1 racing to relax. Back to the education side of things, our next project for media studies is coming around quickly. We have the option to either work alone or work with someone up to four people maximum. Our assigned project is to make a music video that is a minute and 15 seconds long based off an artists song.

  SCHEDULE    2/8/25- 2/11/25:  Filming will begin on these days. These days will be the ones where we get the acting in check and ensure our actors have all of their lines memorized and deliver them correctly. All scenes will be filmed on these days. If all not completed, the next day will have time set aside to film remaining scenes.    2/15/25:   Recording of voiceovers made and other audios will be found. The sound for the FT will be found and imported onto the computer, ensuring it is there for the editing process. Minor editing will also take place, but not major; this means playing around with the color correction of the scenes but nothing serious.    2/18/25-2/19/25:  Editing will commence and the video will be put together. What titles are displayed during the opening sequence?   The production company (BH Productions/Goalpost), the production company they associated with (Nervous Tick), the title of the movie (The Invisible Man), and the production credits (Universal Pictures Presents).   What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?   In the opening sequence, the images prioritized are the ocean and waves crashing against rocks, which are put at low exposure. There are also images inside the house, both on the ceiling and the corner of the wall.   How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?   When they show the universal globe in the first image of the film, the music/sound used is very dark and mysterious, already creating tension, and creating that thriller-feeling genre. The use of the waves crashing by the rocks while being set in low exposure adds further mystery and tension, as the genre "thriller" presents.
