Changes From Peer Review: Production Blog Final Task

From the feedback we got from Charlize, Rose, and Alyssa, we got straight to work. we started with Rose's feedback on the lighting since it was for the entire film, and it was somewhat the easiest part. Since the lighting/exposure affected most of the film, we did that first as well. We raised the exposure of the whole movie. Obviously, we raised the exposure more on some parts than in others. We did realize you can see the titles better with the exposure a bit higher on certain parts, so we greatly thank Rose for that recommendation. Moving on, we focused on Alyssa's feedback. The voice over volume. We re-did the voice overs, using a higher volume level, and speaking at a higher voice level. Once integrated into the film, our voices were clearer, and better heard. If we did not change this, the chances of hearing our voices in the film would be more difficult. It was a good catch by Alyssa that we didn't think of originally. Finally we took Charlize's advice. This is the transition between raw sound and music. This probably took the most amount of time, hence why we left it until the end. As well, it was the most difficult part that we changed. We went into CapCut and started playing around with the settings of the raw sound and the music added. Since Charlize taught us how to do this, we took her advice and used it to complete this task. However, it was difficult, we found our way around. Once these 3 pieces of feedback were completed, we saw significant improvement in our film. We couldn't thank Charlize, Rose, and Alyssa more for their help and support. Now that our film is finally completed, all that is left now is showing you guys!

Title Design: Final Task

Fonts: T here will be some simple and bold fonts such as Condensed Bold, Semi Bold, and Black Italic. The use of these different fonts will make the titles pop or show them boldly for the audience to see clearly. Another main point of these fonts is to be eye-catching, as opposed to something in the background meaning that it is the main focus of ea ch scene.   Color:   Depending on where and when the scene is filmed , the title sequences will be in different colors so that they do not blend in with the backdrop. For example, with a sky scene with a blue and white backdrop, we will use something dark, such as a bold black. And then for something darker, such as a black background, the title will be a lighter color, such as white, red,  green, etc. Different coloring will be essential for the title sequences to not blend in with any backdrops.   Size:  Now for the size, the size of each title sequence will depend on how important th...

Other Info: Final Task

  SCHEDULE    2/8/25- 2/11/25:  Filming will begin on these days. These days will be the ones where we get the acting in check and ensure our actors have all of their lines memorized and deliver them correctly. All scenes will be filmed on these days. If all not completed, the next day will have time set aside to film remaining scenes.    2/15/25:   Recording of voiceovers made and other audios will be found. The sound for the FT will be found and imported onto the computer, ensuring it is there for the editing process. Minor editing will also take place, but not major; this means playing around with the color correction of the scenes but nothing serious.    2/18/25-2/19/25:  Editing will commence and the video will be put together.
