Bump on the Road... A Major One

Originally, we had planned to edit the day after we finished filming. So basically that did not happen by any means. When we heard the news at first, we were genuinely just shocked. We really thought there was no way this happened when we heard the news. Our groupmate who had all the clips on his phone, transferred them onto his computer in order to edit. He put all the clips together to start, and during that he texted the group chat immediately. He said there was a major major issue. Such issue being that all the clips did not reach the 5 minute requirement. We though okay, maybe we were close to it so we could just add clips. But no, that was nowhere near the case. I asked how much we had in total, he said 2 minutes and 37 seconds. I was beyond shocked, we split up filming into 2 days because we had to and even then it was not enough scenes somehow. It felt like we filmed forever, and that it was for sure going to reach the 5 minute requirement. We were absolutely wrong and we really thought it was all over. We knew we needed a solution ASAP. Right away we started trying to find days we could film, and every day we said, one was busy and another was busy. It was starting to seem pretty impossible. Eventually we found a day, right afterschool we get straight to filming. We agreed to add scenes we decided to not use, and add more "context" scenes to make our film make even more sense. This caught us by major surprise and was pretty devastating at first. However we saw this as an opportunity to enhance our movie and make it better in anyway we could.
