Start of Filming…A Failure?
Our first day of filming honestly went unexpected. With filming being so unexpected we had to figure out other days to film for various reasons. First off Sebastian had an important birthday party to attend to later in the day. This obstructed with the night scenes we wanted to do as soon as night hit. That was our first obstacle we encountered from the first filming day. As well, Nico and I had something to do early in the day which messed up the early schedule filming window we had. This overall resulted in us having around 2 hours to film only a couple of day scenes which was not ideal. Nonetheless we took advantage of the limited time we had. To say the least we completed more than we thought with such limited time so we were pretty proud. We got over half of the day scenes done with which was honestly good. After this we decided to text the group chat for further plans. However planning an extra day of filming itself was going to be a difficult task itself. As I have soccer, Nico has jiu jitsu to worry about, and with Evan and Sebastian's social life in general, it would for sure be difficult. However we decided to film again the Sunday following when this is posted! Luckily we were all free on this day throughout the late afternoon, early evening. This was honestly more convenient that we were free around those hours. It is more convenient because the rest of the scenes we would have to film were planned to be in the night or early evening too. This gives us a more flexible schedule to work with and gives us less work to do. We realized that trying to do filming in all one day would be pretty overwhelming. So in the end we were not really bothered by filming an extra day as this gives us more time to be precise while shooting. Making every scene we film a good scene. Overall this is how our first day of filming went! Stay tuned and more to come my fellow bloggers.
